The health benefits of CBD are becoming well known and while research is very much in its early stages the evidence of CBD in the treatment of epilepsy is growing. Research into using CBD as an anti-seizure medication is showing that the totally natural product can indeed reduce the numbers of seizures in patients.  There is hope for all people who suffer with disorders that cause seizures, according to the American Epilepsy Society. While studies into using CBD are far from conclusive they are continuing to better understand how to use the supplement safely.

Studies into the use of CBD as an Anti-Seizure medication have shown tremendously positive results showing that, overall, participants in the tests had 36.5% fewer seizures per month over 12 weeks taking just 2 to 5 mg of CBD per day. 12% of patients had some adverse effects.
